New skills for new jobs

The society and occupations rapidly change due to trends and innovations. Now a days skills can be irrelevant tomorrow. This urges us to develop vocational education that meets the needs from the future. We need to teach young people the skills to anticipate on future developments. That challenges teachers and representatives from industry to get out of their comfort zone and leave old values and ideas behind. Together they need to focus on new developments and create a flexible system of vocational education that can easily reflect to the changes coming. Often it is the young generation it self that can lead the way. TVETxp has the expertise to lead and support the discussion between the VET providers and the world of work.
