Within Europe the aim is on free movement of people and goods. To achieve that the European labour market and the European educational systems must be transparent. By initiating different initiatives Europe invests in the future.

The European Qualification Framework (EQF) acts as the EU standard to which national qualification standards can be compared and valued.

The European Credit system for Vocational Educational and Training (ECVET) offers a framework for the recognition of formal and informal learning and the exchange of learning units between partner countries.

The project European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Traning (EQAVET) aims to structural and sustainable quality improvement of vocational education.

The project European Skills Competences and Occupations (ESCO) is offering transparency in the field of occupations and the needed competences throughout Europe which will lead to better matches between the value of diplomas and the needs of the labour market.

TVETxp sees the value of a flexible European labour market and has gained a lot of experience in the development of these projects and is very interested in supporting the beneficiary organisations in applying the results.
